Eli: In the ancient world, a disciple didn't just attend lectures. They were expected to imitate their teacher's whole way of life.
Eli: So it begins with denying yourself, taking up your cross, and following Jesus.
Eli: He called loving God and your neighbor the greatest commandments.
Eli: It's not casual, though. He said following him would cost something.
