Questions to talk about
Word for word
Mark: If you feel like God could never want you, hear this. I felt that way too.
Sarah: I've felt that too. Paul wrote to the Romans to explain salvation, so listen to this.
Scripture: But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Mark: Wow. I honestly thought God was keeping score on me, and maybe you've felt that too.
Sarah: Paul says people rarely die even for a good person. Yet Christ died for us while we were still weak.
Mark: So none of us has to be good enough first? That's what I couldn't believe either.
Sarah: No. I'm not good enough either. We just trust him, and his love does the rest.
Sarah: I love you, and I want you with me. Tell God, 'I want to know you.'
